A rich history and expertise passed down since 1942
The story of Vergers Boiron began in 1942, when the Boiron family launched their fresh fruit trading business. A few decades later, innovation marked a turning point: the creation of the first frozen fruit puree. This bold choice transformed the work of culinary artisans, paving the way for pastry creations and then—gradually—for wider use, including in the world of beverages.
Since then, the company has continued to evolve: industrialization, modernization of its sites (notably in Valence, Drôme), international expansion, and a growing number of product lines. Today, Boiron exports its purées to more than 80 countries, produces thousands of tons of purées each year, and remains true to its initial ambition: "cultivating fruit excellence."
Fruitology®: a sensory and technical approach to fruit
What sets Boiron apart is its approach called Fruitology® — the study of fruit in all its forms: varieties, terroirs, harvests, processing, taste, texture, and color. Thanks to rigorous sensory and organoleptic analysis protocols, the brand guarantees consistency in flavor, texture, and aroma from batch to batch.
For you, mixologist or bartender, this means perfectly calibrated fruit bases: consistent taste, stable texture, clean aromas—regardless of the season or origin of the fruit. You start with a technically sound, reliable, and consistent fruit base.
Designed for the needs of beverages, mixology, and bars: pasteurized, with no added sugar, preservatives, or artificial flavors, they can be stored at room temperature before opening. Since 2021, Boiron has expanded its offering with this practical and logistically designed range, created for beverage professionals.
These ambient purees represent a considerable advantage for bars: simplified storage, easy rotation, zero freezer constraints, and consistent quality with every service.
