Make 5 x 5 x 5 translucent ice cubes with the clear ice box
There is a degree of trial and error in producing crystal clear ice with the water used, the temperature of the freezer, the temperature of the water used to fill the molds and where it is placed in the freezer which all influence the result.
If your cubes are clear at the top but the bottom is a little cloudy, then: - your freezer is too cold and needs to be moved to a less cold setting to slow ice formation. The purer your water, the faster you can freeze while producing clear ice. If you find that your cubes are clear on the top but the bottom is cloudy, you will need to slow down the freezing process by setting the temperature of your freezer to -14°C (food should be stored at -18°C or lower ).- the purer the water the better. Consider filtering your water. Ice clarity is also aided by the use of hot water to slow freezing. Boiling your water in a kettle and allowing it to cool, then boiling it again and only partially cooling the water before pouring it into the cooler can also be beneficial.
Easy to use and reusable as often as you like, the Clear Ice Box is perfect for both home and professional freezers. Its robust and intelligent design guarantees easy handling and professional results, with longer but slower cooling , for ice cubes that melt less quickly and preserve their aromas.
Please note: Ice quality depends on several factors such as freezer temperature , water purity , and freezing speed . To maximize clarity, use filtered water that has been boiled twice and set your freezer to around -14°C .
Adopt the Clear Ice Box and transform your glasses into true works of frozen art.
The Clear Ice Box features a rigid insulated frame, a lower retention tray, and flexible silicone molds for easy ice cube release. It produces six large cubes (5 cm square), perfectly suited to Old Fashioned glasses or cocktails served over ice.
The directional freezing principle allows you to direct the crystallization process to avoid the formation of bubbles in the center. The result: transparent, solid, and aesthetic ice cubes, which visually enhance your creations while limiting dilution.
Ice cube size: 5 x 5 x 5 cm
Capacity: 6 ice cubes per cycle
Tray dimensions: approximately 21 x 13 x 10 cm
Materials: plastic insulating shell, food-grade silicone molds
